Details of Work Carried Out:
The property had a hipped roof so the end of the existing roof was removed to allow for the gable end to be built up. Steel support beams were then fixed in place to support the new structure and the dormer at the rear of the property was constructed. The windows at the rear were installed and the Velux to the front elevation. The roof was fully latted, fitted with felt and new roof tiles supplied and fitted to make watertight. Internally the opening for the access into the loft was created and the bespoke staircase was supplied and fitted. All floor joists were fitted and boarded once insulated. The studwork for the rooms was built to create a bedroom, en-suite wet room and walk in wardrobe. All walls were plastered and painted, all skirtings, architraves and doors supplied and fitted. The en-suite wet room was fully tiled and toilet, sink and shower units all supplied and fitted. The new carpets to the loft stairs and first floor landing were also supplied and fitted.
